MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An accident involving an overturned semi-trailer is causing traffic delays in Southeast Memphis.

Police say due to the accident, the northbound lanes of Lamar Avenue at Davidson Road will be shut down and remain closed for an unspecified time.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes as crews work to clear the area.

No information about the cause of the accident has been released.
