ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol has reported that one of the semi-trucks involved in an accident that shut down I-95 for hours was carrying a load of potatoes.
Hundreds of potatoes were littering the shoulder of the road near SR-206 as officials work to clean up the area.
From noon to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, traffic was backed up for miles at a complete standstill.
A truck bed is overturned on the road and appears to have separated from its trailer.
St. Johns County Fire Rescue reported two semi-trucks and an SUV were involved in the crash.
A report from FHP says that no one was injured in this incident.
